BIO
Jennifer Seguin knew she was going to be an actor as soon as she saw “The Wizard of Oz” at the age of 4 and there was no turning back. Studying theatre, film and comedy, she launched her professional career after earning a BFA from Concordia University in Montreal.
The biggest surprise for her was discovering the world of animation and dubbing voice work.
She quickly became obsessed and has been recording hundreds of projects since the 80’s
crediting animation for strengthening her giggle muscles and video games for strengthening
her screaming muscles.
She also flexed her comedy club wings in the 90s and 00s, in the award winning improv troupe
On the Spot, taking her around the world in international competitions and earning her a Canadian Comedy Award nomination. She co-wrote and directed season 1 of “Radio
Active”, a YTV sitcom.
On Camera work reared it’s gorgeous head when she started out in series like “Are You Afraid
of the Dark?” and “Seriously Weird”, lately “Mohawk Girls” and “The Moodys”.
Jennifer is proud to live in a city that attracts international film crews giving her the chance to
work with names like George Clooney, Sam Rockwell, Milla Jojovich and Morgan Freeman.
She is Thrilled to work with the local genius and creative energy of directors writers and
producers based right here in Montreal. From Commercials to Animation Features to film and TV, She believes that there is no better place to live a balanced actor’s life than where she is right now.
